While Spinning the chain blurs and the chains dirt and grease effects the reflection of light. this is the effect i was trying to achieve.The idea for 'Cycles' started from the word 'repetition' i started looking at repeated motion and journeys that i regularly repeated. I take the same route everyday to university so i began by looking at my method of transport. the act of cycling itself is repetitive (Pedaling) and the angles of the cogs and chains were perfect for constructing letters. %27Cycles%27%20is%20based%20around%20Bicycle%20gears%20and%20chains%20in%20motion.%20While%20Spinning%20the%20chain%20blurs%20and%20the%20chains%20dirt%20and%20grease%20effects%20the%20reflection%20of%20light.%20this%20is%20the%20effect%20i%20was%20trying%20to%20achieve.The%20idea%20for%20%27Cycles%27%20started%20from%20the%20word%20%27repetition%27%20i%20started%20looking%20at%20repeated%20motion%20and%20journeys%20that%20i%20regularly%20repeated.%20I%20take%20the%20same%20route%20everyday%20to%20university%20so%20i%20began%20by%20looking%20at%20my%20method%20of%20transport.%20the%20act%20of%20cycling%20itself%20is%20repetitive%20%28Pedaling%29%20and%20the%20angles%20of%20the%20cogs%20and%20chains%20were%20perfect%20for%20constructing%20letters.%20%20%20
