I%20am%20studying%20in%20my%20third%20year%20of%20Graphic%20Design%20at%20the%20university%20of%20the%20west%20of%20England%20%28Bristol%20UWE%29.%20I%27ve%20been%20away%20from%20fontstruct%20for%20over%20a%20year%20now%2C%20and%20over%20the%20last%20few%20weeks%20I%27ve%20seen%20some%20of%20the%20new%20first%20year%20students%20using%20it%20a%20lot.%20I%20couldn%27t%20help%20but%20notice%20the%20new%20bricks%20and%20brick%20stacking%20features%20that%20are%20now%20available.%0D%0A%0D%0A%20%0D%0AI%20have%20designed%20this%20typeface%20on%20a%20very%20small%20scale%2C%20to%20allow%20for%20the%20bezier%20curves%20created%20by%20the%20new%20bricks.%20I%20have%20had%20to%20use%20some%20creative%20brick%20stacking%20in%20order%20to%20get%20as%20much%20form%20out%20of%20the%20typeface%20as%20I%20could.%20%0D%0A%0D%0A%0D%0ASome%20of%20the%20lowercase%20glyphs%20seem%20to%20have%20some%20similar%20resemblance%20to%20the%20modernist%20typeface%20%22universal%22%20by%20Herbert%20Bayer.%20Although%20%22universal%22%20has%20no%20uppercase%20glyphs%2C%20whereas%20mine%20does%21%0D%0A%0D%0A%0D%0AI%20am%20really%20pleased%20with%20this%20font%2C%20so%20thanks%20very%20much%20to%20fontstruct%20for%20putting%20in%20the%20new%20features.%0D%0A%0D%0A%0D%0AWhen%20using%20this%20font%2C%20I%20recommend%20that%20you%20set%20the%20tracking%20to%20around%20-120%20or%20so%2C%20and%20set%20the%20kerning%20to%20%22optical%22%20rather%20than%20metrics%22.%20The%20letters%20will%20set%20quite%20nicely%20under%20these%20settings.%0D%0A%0D%0AHope%20you%20like%20it%21%0D%0A%0D%0A-%20Joe%0D%0A
