I drew exactly as I saw an alphabet of 14 letters and an ampersand, and on the plane I filled in the other 12 necessary for an alphabet. The sign was all caps, but for your purposes, I shortened the lowercase.This%20font%20is%20based%20exactly%20off%20of%20my%20original%20sketch%20of%20the%20%22exit%20505%22%20sign%20I%20saw.%20%20I%20drew%20exactly%20as%20I%20saw%20an%20alphabet%20of%2014%20letters%20and%20an%20ampersand%2C%20and%20on%20the%20plane%20I%20filled%20in%20the%20other%2012%20necessary%20for%20an%20alphabet.%20%20The%20sign%20was%20all%20caps%2C%20but%20for%20your%20purposes%2C%20I%20shortened%20the%20lowercase.

At first, it might seem like a regular typeface, but when you look at the angles, they are sharp, and when you look at the curves, they are vertical. As a matter a fact, this font uses 2x vertical filtering to achieve these effects. It was very hard to make this font, and I think it looks beautiful.inspired%20by%20an%20airport%20exit%20sign%2C%20this%20font%20is%20more%20than%20what%20it%20seems%20on%20the%20surface.%20%20At%20first%2C%20it%20might%20seem%20like%20a%20regular%20typeface%2C%20but%20when%20you%20look%20at%20the%20angles%2C%20they%20are%20sharp%2C%20and%20when%20you%20look%20at%20the%20curves%2C%20they%20are%20vertical.%20%20As%20a%20matter%20a%20fact%2C%20this%20font%20uses%202x%20vertical%20filtering%20to%20achieve%20these%20effects.%20%20It%20was%20very%20hard%20to%20make%20this%20font%2C%20and%20I%20think%20it%20looks%20beautiful.
