Don't know why I never published it, I think it's relatively complete and probably a worthy variation of the original Frostletter. Have fun!Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Apodosahttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/apodosahttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/330846
Hey FontStruct! Long time no see! :)

This is what one would unfortunately have to call a lukewarm comeback. It's been almost 2 years since my last release, and what I come back with is a not overly creative design with an uncomplete character set and an unsatisfying name. But this has been collecting dust for too long in my unreleased fonts collection, and I sort of like the uppercase... So I thought maybe someone else does, too.

Western european diacritics and more punctuation marks will hopefully come soon, so don't download yet.

Cheers!Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Punched Outhttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/punched_outhttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/205373
Well, apparently everybody here likes building letters... And I'm sure everybody got told at least once to finally shut down that damn computer while fontstructing. Here's how you can go on tinkering fonts even with the computer unplugged!;)

I had carried this idea around with me a long time ago, doing some sketches, but abandoning it cause I thought all the thin and dotted lines would go beyond fontstruct's possibilities. Until funk_king proved me wrong... Thanks for the re-inspiration!

I think this is pretty self-explaining. Cut along the solid lines, fold along the dotted lines and put some glue on the shaded parts, put it all together, and there you go with your new toys!

Unfortunately it was impossible to fill all the inner sides of all the counters, but I tried to leave them open where you'd see it least. There might also be some bugs, I haven't tried them out yet. Pure brainwork so far... (My brain's still in the freezer to cool down a bit) In case someone ever actually uses them and finds something wrong, please let me know!
Hope you like it!:)

Check out the fill font if you wanna print your own custom-made design on the letters!Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000High Voltagehttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/high_voltage_2http://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/353562
Another script experiment, again with a pinch of blackletter, but also with a solid lacing of rock'n'roll... For the fun/easiness of it, this was done with pre-2.0-features only. Funny how this already gives is an old-school feel. :)

A lot of refinement is still to be done... Suggestions are, as always, welcome!

And I will probably add some more latin characters soon...

For some more samples, check my blog!Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Scrambled Scripthttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/scrambled_scripthttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/342823
Little experiment of mine, trying to design a script font that really connects all the letters. As you might guess from the quality of the uppercase, I started with lowercase and had quite some trouble finishing the uppercase... And I know there are (obviously) always the connection strokes peaking out at the end any word, but funnily this imperfect look has started to grow on me during the fontstructing.

I also know there are still lots and lots of inconsistencies and letters that badly need a rework, but I thought the constructive criticism of my fellow fonstructors might be more helpful and efficient at improving this... So I'm grateful for any suggestions!:)

Oh, and yes: The kerning is very painful at times, but I can't see how I can improve that under the constraints of the script and the character forms. And obviously the script thing doesn't work with uppercase only text.Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Frostletterhttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/frostletterhttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/331669
This is my first humble attempt at something blackletterish. It's the third clone of the initial starting point which was based on another blackletter attempt I did some time ago... Seems like I'm not much of a blackletter natural.:) I'm not completely happy with this one neither, but just pumping it out because i don't currently find any motivation or creativity to improve it.

Any suggestions for improvement are welcome! Especially for the T, that one gives me the creeps... And yes, I know kerning can get quite messy and is best done by hand.

More and/or higher resolution samples on my blog!Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Circle Culthttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/circle_culthttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/334781
Thought I might just also join the party of 2.0 curves. This is based on an attempt to come as close as possible to a perfect circle, trying to beat Gene in the competition for the most accurate circle before he pumps out another of his miracles...;) The "o" of this font is in that respect my entry to the competition. Just made it into a whole lowercase set for fun...

I suggest everyone who has his own circle for the competition somewhere in a font, tags it with "circle competition". Absolute accuracy shouldn't be the only criteria; if you manage to get an accurate circle on a small grid size, it should be rewarded as well. Mine has a 20 pixel stroke width and a 116 diameter, so I'm sure smaller solutions are also possible.

Due to its pretty large grid size this is getting dangerously close to the limits of the preview widget, so be patient when previewing it.

By the way: djnippa's swiss army knife of composite bricks came in very handy here. I hope some people will find more stylish uses for this than on college shirts/jumpers. It actually wasn't intended to have that standard college slab serif look, and I desperately believe that there's still a nuance of difference, but that might be an illusion.

I btw just copied the uppercase letters on lowercase slots to make it more convenient. So don't be too impressed by the character count.;)Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Pixel Pandemoniumhttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/pixel_pandemoniumhttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/318460
This technique certainly has the potential for more than this, but right now I don't have the time for experimenting a lot. But how about using it for a handwriting-on-rough-paper font?

And yep, I'll do a more complete character set soon...Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Traditahttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/traditahttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/258872
This feels very bad; it's the first time I'm betraying my oath never to use the grid to feign bezier curves, and one of the few times I betray my principle only to publish complete character sets. At least there is a chance to make amends on the second treason, but this font still deserves it's name: Tradita. (Italian for betrayed)

Alternative a and z on the lowercase. I'll probably add more characters soon enough, but it's unlikely to get an uppercase set.
