It’s inspired by the Iron Man movie logo (I got curious after seeing this font).Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Noptical 2x2http://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/noptical_2x2http://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/273117
Here’s Noptical as it was meant to be. Two years in the making, still an ugly font! But look: better spacing, 1333 glyphs, all latin variants you could wish for (including Vietnamese), Greek, Cyrillic, Braille, Yijing hexagrams, the not yet Unicode-encoded Rouble sign, interrobang (after a design by Adien Gunarta), even a tombstone!Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Genji-monhttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/genji_monhttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/585342
Font representing the Genji-mon (so called because they were used to mark each chapter of the world’s first novel, the Genji monogatari), a system of symbols which indicate all the possible groupings and subgroupings of five elements. They were used in kumikō, a japanese ceremony/game about guessing different types of incense by smell. The number of all combinations of five elements is 52, but I reproduced the 54 symbols used to mark the Genji monogatari chapters, which contain the same symbol in two variations and a made-up one as well. I did the font because I think it was perfect for Fontstruct. But if you need something more polished, and in four different styles, there is it.Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Festivehttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/festive_3http://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/578740
Something quickly put together, based on a pretty simple module in between gothic and moorish. I thought there’s something festive about it, hence the name.Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Elegance Serifhttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/elegance_serifhttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/256826
Same as Elegance. With some serifs and some further experimentation with problematic characters. In the process of being enhanced with "brickstacking".Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Black Diamondhttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/black_diamondhttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/249615
Another experiment in smallness. 2x3 grid with somewhat diamond-shaped counters.Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Claredont Stencilhttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/claredont_stencilhttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/423120
Based on Claredont, featuring the new slightly improved S and some added glyphs.Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Vertical Basichttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/vertical_basichttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/557845
Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Claredonthttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/claredonthttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/417143
Something “clarendonesque”. Lowercase is obviously darker than uppercase. I wish I had found a better solution for S. At the moment, it lacks brackets.Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Noptical widehttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/noptical_widehttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/261992
An ongoing try to use curves' radius as big as possible compared to the size of the letters. Alas, obviously without any optical correction whatsoever. Using a near square grid obviously led to a Microgramma-like appearance.Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Nopticalhttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/noptical_1http://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/256055
Now superseded by <a href="http://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/noptical_2x2>Noptical 2x2. A try to use curves' radius as big as possible compared to the size of the letters. Alas, obviously without any optical correction whatsoever. This is a more harmonious (shorter capitals) version of Noptical elder (neé "Noptical"). Extensive latin coverage and some alternatesThu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Elegancehttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/elegance_17http://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/256688
A shot at something Peignot-like. I needed to publish something. So I started a new one ;-) All latin and more latin glyphs, 2x3 grid, no filters, a good deal of composites, spacing like there’s no such thing. Enjoy! :-)Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Noptical tallhttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/noptical_tallhttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/262185
As the name says, a "tall" version of Noptical.Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Semiserio lineahttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/semiserio_lineahttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/209437
My first attemptThu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Noptical Roundhttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/noptical_round_2http://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/269884
A “finger” version of Noptical. I’m not yet 100% sure of the curves’ placement on all characters. But I think the overall appearance is pleasing :-)Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Snake's tonguehttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/snake_s_tonguehttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/271141
With all those decorative fontstructions out there, I wanted to try too. Just caps at the moment.Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000
