Hi, I'm a 68 year old yoghurt weaver and occasional lava lamp fondler, living in Winchester UK.
... well, actually I spent most of my working life as a mental health social worker. After too many years dealing with murder, suicide, violence and distress I have finally retired. I spend my time wood carving, drawing, listening to overloud music, swearing at the Playstation (I'm a Gran Turismo nut) and in recent years - FontStructing :-)
Whilst I have never worked in the design field, I have always enjoyed dabbling in allied arts ... screen printing; Letterpress (with an old hand operated Adana press); running community newspapers; pen and ink drawing; carving in wood and marble etc. and have even sold a few logo designs to local firms.
I came across FontStruct when googling for font design software (as I had always wanted to have a go at this). It's fantastic and I can't thank Rob Meek enough for making it available.
