Playing around with octagonal shapes. One child of this phase was "Zapotek", which Xenophilius mentioned completely right. Another one, beside some others , is this one. Somewhere in the back of my head this is inspired by the wonderful "fs Kronos" by will.i.ૐ. Not so much in it's look, but in it's heroic, oldfashioned feel. The feel it's purpose is decorating an epic fantasy novel :) I hope the upcoming sample can make this clearer. Enjoy

I was thinking... it could be a nice concept/basic letterform to "pump up" squares! The upper and lower case sets are different, but not completely. Some of the glyphs only worked in one way... So here it is. Enjoy and have a beautiful summer!

OK. Here's "VUVUZELA" A typeface inspired by the continent of africa, but mainly by the WorldCup of soccer 2010 in South Africa! To catch on of the strongest associations for me relating to africa, i chose black and white stripes, maybe to remind of zebras or other animal patterns. But the effect also stands for the "swoosh" of a ball flyin by, for just the the "sporty" feel i wanted it to have. Enjoy it. There's an alternative "a" on "=" cheers kix

This is originally inspired by a typeface i've seen on a wedding/congratulation card. In the process of crafting the glyphs it turned out more and more like a font, perfect for horror, goth emo stuff. A little bit as you know them from Tim Burton movies/introductions. So this is why it's name is an homage to Tim Burton and his morbid, ingenious and unique way of visualising movies. Enjoy! Harr, harr... It also contains some ligatures (which i integrated into the sample) and alternative glyphs. Like for example an "o" without thedecoration in the middle... hey fellas. let me introduce my personal CROSSOVER of "arial" and "times new roman", two of the most famous fonts of western typefaces. nicely presented in a scetchy pencil drawn quickie style :) it's just lower case yet, but i wanted to share it. upper case, numerals and symbols to come. really :) this is especially tasty in small pixel sizes! thanks for attention! try it... *UNDER FONSTRUCTION*

I was bored and my inner voices screamed for innovation, so i decided to use FS in it's essence. guys, all this is like LEGO! if the resolution is high enough you can do, whatever you want :P every FIGURE COLLECTION will content 7 characters.this is all about fun, but i think some of them might be useful as well. It's all no magic - watch the sample. the DOT experience continues... It gives you an unexpected kind of FREEDOM creating lines with dots. This time i doubled the resolution by using 2x2 circles. Finally your eye can help making curves of any size look complete and entirely smooth! Oh my god... I see more possibilities now than ever before!! That technique of "dotting", as i call it, will make my brain bust, i guess. :P May the force be with me!
