Even though these characters are two squares wide, whereas the type/carve characters are each one square wide, they should actually be one square wide. I can't fit two elements in one square though. The width-to-height ratio of these characters should be 0.333... ... 1 download1%20download167 glyphs67%20glyphs67This is the revised version. I wanted the paradigm of right before left and top before bottom to be reflected in the characters. So I had to change it! I changed the logographic script characters, not the numbers, because I didn't really like the 1st version. I think the new version looks better. This is the common script. I do see more elaborate scripts, based on this, developing. Also, hopefully fonts that are as cool as alot of the ones on this site but that are too difficult to write quickly. The rectangular script is an... accent script. I can see it being used as a border on a building's sides. The parameters that I set for myself (that the characters had to be the same width and height) helped develop this appearance. Though I was inspired by the Ancient script from the Stargate universe. Another cool thing is that the height is 8x the width. This is cool because I have two sets of consonants with 8 members each. As well as a vowel set with 8 members. I'm gonna have a base-8 system as well. There's also 64 characters! That happened by accident!
