It took some experimenting, but I finally found a way to make caps that were complementary to the quirky little “small-grid” face I designed months ago. In an attempt to unify, I modified the LC a bit... it’s more boxy than the original (hence the name) but hopefully retains the personality.

The rules: rounded terminals, small grid, no contrast, no cross-strokes or intersections. The effect: neon channel, router groove, cake icing, live bait.

Ever have one of those fonts that you just have to get out of your system because it's there in your list, taunting you in until you finish it? This is one of those. Someone's likely done something like this before, but I just needed to see if I could do it. I did... and I even managed to keep my lunch down. As with most sugary sweet confections, this is best in small portions.

Extra bold and extra fancy. Solid but fluid. As usual, will require substantial hand kerning...but it's worth it.

Experimental display face using a variety of bricks. The strokes appear shattered or disrupted, but glyphs retain a classical, old style form.
