This tool, lets you save ALL ANGLED COMPOSITE BRICKS into MY BRICKS in a very easy to use, and well organised way.
SIMPLY COPY & PASTE THE BRICK PATTERN STORED IN CHARACTER 'A' TO A NEW WINDOW (WHERE YOU ALREADY HAVE ANOTHER FONTSTRUCT PAGE OPEN - so that's two fontstruct pages open at the same time).
COPY & PASTE THE ENTIRE PATTERN IN TO A 'NEVER USED' CHARACTER IN 'EXTENDED LATIN B SET'. DO THIS BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE, AND NEVER DELETE THIS CODE UNTIL YOU HAVE FINISHED YOUR FONT ENTIRELY.
THIS WILL PLACE ALL THE COMPOSITES INTO THE 'MY BRICKS' PANEL, AND ENABLE YOU TO CHANGE THE LICENSE TO SUIT YOUR REQUIREMENTS.
ENJOY. I've made compositions of ALL the angled bricks possible.
I have also neatly ordered and placed them in the section.
I have placed each brick into the character A. These bricks must be kept inside your font at all times, as otherwise when you delete a composite brick it deletes it completely from the MY BRICKS section.
So DO NOT DELETE these patterns until you have finished your font. I hope this saves you lots of time, and aids you in your creativity.

Roughly based on my NCD Black Square fontstruct, but massively scaled up to accommodate the internal lines.
I found that the small caps version works nicely when used in odd combinations with the lower case. Particularly the upper 'R'.
Most difficult characters were the F/f. I wasn't too keen on the open space they made, so I've added more than a few alternatives. The 'r', 'J' & 'L' gave me a similar visual dilemma.
I have also completed a version with Normal Caps. Which will be displayed soon.

NCD Amphibian Stencil

I decided to make a stencil version of my NCD Amphibian font.
I didn't have to change too much.
Slightly influenced by Afrojet's superb Whoopee which reminded me of NCD Amphibian when I first saw it.
There's still some tweaking to be done, so all comments welcomed.

NCD Edding 5.0

A TRUE HAND WRITTEN font.
No two letters are the same, or use any of the same brick configurations.
From my very own hand using an Edding 5.0 Calligraphy pen.
Only the upper case is available for now. Due to a heavy work load this week, and several non-starter comp entries, I've unfortunately been unable to fully complete the lowercase and numerals. :-(

Another one that didn't make the grade for the Handmade Comp. Inspired by old fashioned enamel and cast iron signage, where the screw holes are embedded with the font. I decided to move the screw holes to the edge to create a more unique look.

NCD Patchwork

Keeping to the sewing theme. I designed this to look like letters that have been either weaved, stitched, or screen printed onto the fabric to create a patchwork quilt effect.
This seems to work best using a sack cloth effect.
Although it works equally as well as a wire fence/ chequered steel/ tread plate / diamond plate flooring effect. In an ideal world there would be more empty weaves at the top and bottom of each character. I would also prefer a different style Q.
Due to comp rules I have had to omit the lower case, and others, as this just squeezes into the 32 pixel height limit.
All comments and criticism appreciated.

Created 23rd July 2009. Originally based on teeth braces, then it turned into the internally reinforced steel bars in concrete pillars.
That are used in the construction industry to help support buildings secondary flooring and roofs.
Having helped my father build several houses as a young man, making this font resurrected many 'back breaking' days of shoveling cement into wooden jibs then dropping in the reinforced steel....!
It is certainly a lot easier designing a font.

"\" = 'g' (alternative) also four different 'g's in preview Originally created 17th January 2009 with the lower case set, which is roughly based on the Grand Theft Auto Logo, but then decided that a different approach would suit that better (See my Grand Theft Autostruct Font). For this font I used a similar looking lower case, and added an appropriate Upper Case. I think it turned out nice again, and very usable.
