DJ / Producer/ Promoter/ Graphic Designer
N Downey aka DJ Nippa was Born in Manchester, England.
He has a BA (Hons) Degree in Graphic Information Design.
On leaving University he spent 3 years working as a Graphic Designer in London, then traveled the world, and stayed in Hong Kong as the Art Director of the Great Wall Design Company where he designed the Vtech logo. On returning to England he was bitten by the dance craze sweeping the UK, and became a full time DJ and promoter. As well as making music, he continued to design flyers for his own events. So popular were his music & creative flair that he soon became a much sought after DJ & designer in the UK capital.
He has designed flyers for the majority of London’s Clubs including The Ministry Of Sound, Pacha, Turnmills, The Cross, Matter & Egg.
He joined Fontstruct in December 2008 and became instantly addicted.
Two fonts have been signed to International Font House’s, and with a recent purchase of Fontlab Studio he plans to go to the next level.
