This typeface is based on the theme of "Vibration". From the beginning I wanted to create a unique design, looking at sound I decided to use my voice as the starting point. After recording myself pronouncing the alphabet and uploading it to a sound editor I looked at the different shapes and patterns it created. This was my voice that was unique to me and was the inspiration for the typeface. I then researched fonts and looked at bold, chunky designs which could hold the pattern without taking too much away from the letter form as it was important to me that my design was still legible. I decided to use the corresponding sound with the letter (i.e. the A has my pronunciation of the letter running through it)making it different from anything I have seen before. Please comment and share your opinions. Thank You

Inspired from Yautja's Advancer, but here I wanted dots to not overlap. They don't touch and approximately have same distance from one another. Turned them into pearls or bubbles, to make it more interesting. Needs tweaking here and there. This was and is fun to make :) Enjoy.

Typeface based on the work of Victorian Designer and Architect E. W. Godwin (1833-1886) born in Stokes Croft, Bristol. He was influential in the Aesthetic movement that created "the look" of Victorian Britain. He began his career working in the strongly polychromatic "Ruskinian Gothic" style of mid-Victorian Britain, inspired by The Stones of Venice, then moved on to provide designs in the "Anglo-Japanese taste" of the Aesthetic Movement and Whistler's circle in the 1870s. A friend of Oscar Wilde, James Whistler and William Burges he was also the father of revered actress Dame Ellen Terrys illegitimate child. Godwin's influence can be detected in the Arts and Crafts Movement. To judge from his sketchbooks at the Victoria and Albert Museum, one might have expected an eclectic historicist, but Godwin, by no means a tame reproducer of antiquarian Gothic designs, was among the first to extend the European design repertory to include the arts of Japan, which had been opened to the Western world in 1853. His work is undergoing a revival since he was jokingly adopted as the patron saint of Stokes Croft by community action group the Peoples Republic of Stokes Croft. The group aim to to put some of his finest architectural achievements in the city back to good use as many of them despite being buildings of some historical significance lie empty and unused. His design work is being reincorporated into the urban landscape through the community organisation's programme of public art and his style has recently been adopted by a number of Street Artists including Dones and Felix Braun so his work is undergoing some kind of a revival.The glyphs are all based on the patterns from his sketchbooks.

The evil older brother of Ferno. Unleashed from his cage where he has been held captive for two years. wait. It says created 10.29.08. It's been about three years. Yep. He's angry about that. Long overdue for a Halloween rampage. This is a FontStruct 1.0 creation. Original stacks were created with Will's brick stacking glitch before Meek permanently made it an advanced feature. I was going to update it with new curvy bricks, but I'm afraid to touch it. It's wicked sharp.

The Upper case letters are seven times high the pen nib. The Lower case letters are five times high the pen nib. The tilt of the pen is 45 degrees in all forms, except for vertical lines with decorative porpose, which have the thickness of the pen. This is a typeface for great quantity of text, with some concern for the legibility and readability, even for those unfamiliar with Gothic script. It should not work well with upper case names or titles.

'Cycles' is based around Bicycle gears and chains in motion. While Spinning the chain blurs and the chains dirt and grease effects the reflection of light. this is the effect i was trying to achieve.The idea for 'Cycles' started from the word 'repetition' i started looking at repeated motion and journeys that i regularly repeated. I take the same route everyday to university so i began by looking at my method of transport. the act of cycling itself is repetitive (Pedaling) and the angles of the cogs and chains were perfect for constructing letters.

This is my first FontStruction while currently studying graphic design at Bristol UWE. Lots of experimentation solely using paints; quick hand movements and flicks to produce a messy, unrefined effect. Working in less than 1 second for each letter (with real paints), used as reference. Inspired by East Asian calligraphy.
