Recreation of the pixel font from Nintendo's "The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening" (1993) on the Game Boy.
This recreation includes the special/accented characters from the french and german releases of the game. In game, the characters with a diaeresis use an additional tile above them - in this recreation, the characters have been combined properly (and as a result, the height of the font overall is greater than 8px).
As an aside, this font was also used for the fan translation of "For frog the bell tolls" (aka "カエルの為に鐘は鳴る" / "Kaeru no Tame ni Kane wa Naru", 1992/2011).
Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.
Updated 9 July 2022 to include additional accented uppercase characters, and the star icon.

The Works Progress Administration (W.P.A.) was the largest agency of FDR's "New Deal", employing millions of people. Over 2,000 posters were produced by the W.P.A. to raise awareness and support the arts.
I have a lot of admiration for these posters and a style of sign painters' lettering (sometimes called “gas-pipe”) that was common in the U.S. during the 1930s-'40s. WPA Gothic gets much of its inspiration from this poster in particular. This FontStruction stays true to the sample’s simple letterforms, but the FontStruct grid does present a few limitations. For more refined typefaces in this style check out DDC Hardware, Futura Display, FF Golden Gate Gothic, Refrigerator, and MVB Solano Gothic by some of my favorite type designers, two of which (Parkinson and Van Bronkhorst) are East Bay natives.
WPA Gothic has a few alternate glyphs hanging out in the Extended Latin slots with more to come.

– Loosened the spacing a tad more.
– Added a few punctuation marks, including dashes, bullets, and inverted question/exclamation marks.
– Tightened ‘f’ spacing.
– Lengthened the quotes and apostrophes. They were so wee!
– And I fixed that Å! It’s not pretty, but it’s a ring.
Recreation of the large pixel font from Nintendo's "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past" (1991). This is the extended version, which includes additional accented/extended versions of characters (based on the different european releases of the game).
This is a clone of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (Big)More of an experiment than an attempt at an amazing typeface, but I thought it'd be a fun entry nonetheless. Don't let the creation date fool you: I started this design in early 2014. There were many issues that had to be remedied before publishing, most notably the lack of characters and major discrepancies between the shapes of serifs (some were entirely triangular, others entirely curved). It's still heavily a work in progress. Suggestions are encouraged, especially for the Q and punctuation. Thanks and enjoy!
This is a cloneInspired by the works of regular_one. Unlike most fonts I've released recently, many of the glyphs had to be modified or even redone from scratch.
- M, W, m, w, @, #, %, <, >, ~, and the circumflex above accented letters were all too wide and had to be condensed;
- I, f, i, j, l, r, and t were all too narrow and were expanded a bit, mostly through the careful application of serifs;
- K, M, W, X, Y, v, w, y, 7, /, and \ all had ugly mixes of angles that needed to be redesigned;
- N, *, (, and ) were completely redesigned, and many more touched up, to fit better with the rest of the font.
Most of the edits made were not possible before nudging. It's still not perfect, but it's much better than it was before, and I'm proud of how much it has "grown up". Of course, suggestions and critiques are encouraged. Thanks and enjoy!
An attempt to make a very readable sans similar to what you would see on streetsigns, utilizing larger curves than the average FontStruction. Uses 3x3 curves on the uppercase and 2.5x2.5 on the lowercase/numbers. A few alternates in Latin Extended-A. As always, suggestions and critiques are welcome. Thanks and enjoy!

This is a clone of AT Imagiro ReversedThe design was inspired by Josef Albers Kombinationschrift alphabet. A modular typeface built using a limited number of basic shapes. Need a condensed stencil typeface? Look no further! Little Tittle was created for those tight spaces. A condensed set width paired with short ascending and descending strokes allows for tight spacing vertically as well. Little Tittle is exclusively lowercase; however, it does have a stencil and solid version so you can mix and match styles for more typographic variety.
Recreation of the secondary pixel font from Capcom's "Gargoyle's Quest II: The Demon Darkness" (1992) on the NES. This font is used primarily for the end credit sequence. Only the characters present in the game's tile set have been included.
