This is a version of Moon type, also known as Moon writing, Moon alphabet, Moon script, Moon type, or Moon code. Moon type is meant as a reading system for the blind, invented by William Moon in 1845, but it soon was replaced with Braille because of ease of use. My version also has many modified characters, which removes the numeral character and short-hand characters, and heavily modifies punctuation.
