Ray%20Meadow%E2%80%99s%20gorgeous%20take%20on%20uncial%20script%20is%20one%20of%20the%20best%20large-scale%20fontstructions%20ever%20released.%20The%20font%20has%20character%2C%20wit%2C%20and%20charm%20to%20spare%20and%20surely%20deserves%20all%20the%20attention%20and%20adulation%20awarded%20it%20by%20fontstructors%20and%20%3Ca%20herf%3D%22http%3A%2F%2Fwww.myfonts.com%2Ffonts%2Fray-meadows%2Frm-celtic%2F%22%3Epaying%20customers%3C%2Fa%3E%20alike.%20Like%20any%20great%20work%2C%20it%20compels%20us%20to%20look%20closely%20and%20savour%20the%20details.%0D%0A%3Cp%3E%0D%0AInspecting%20Ray%E2%80%99s%20work%2C%20I%20sensed%20a%20range%20of%20mostly%20minor%20refinements%20and%20exacting%20adjustments%20that%20might%20make%20this%20gem%20shine%20all%20the%20more%20brightly.%20So%2C%20in%20the%20spirit%20of%20camaraderie%2C%20I%20requested%20permission%20to%20apply%20myself%20to%20a%20clone%20of%20his%20work%20in%20order%20to%20bring%20forth%20and%20share%20some%20of%20these%20suggestions.%20Approached%20in%20stages%2C%20the%20task%20of%20polishing%20this%20stone%20to%20my%20liking%20spread%20out%20over%20more%20than%20half%20a%20year.%0D%0A%3Cp%3E%0D%0AMy%20main%20goal%20was%20to%20smooth%20the%20modular%20geometry%20out%20as%20much%20as%20possible%2C%20address%20some%20stroke%20weight%20and%20contrast%20issues%20throughout%2C%20and%20rebalance%20specific%20forms.%20In%20many%20cases%2C%20I%20use%20custom%20composite%20and%20advanced%20stacking%20tricks%20to%20fine%20tune%20the%20curves%20of%20these%20letterforms.%20Upon%20studious%20inspection%2C%20a%20wealth%20of%20tweaks%20are%20revealed.%20I%20suspect%20that%20setting%20basic%20words%20and%20sentences%20is%20now%20an%20even%20greater%20joy%20with%20this%20version%2C%20and%20pray%20it%20will%20be%20of%20benefit%20and%20inspiration%20to%20make%20Ray%E2%80%99s%20great%20work%20even%20better.%0D%0A%3Cp%3E%0D%0AThe%20total%20effect%20strikes%20a%20greater%20unity%20between%20the%20uppercase%20and%20the%20lowercase.%20A%20few%20letters%20are%20significant%20departures%20from%20their%20starting%20points%20%28K%2C%20k%20R%2C%20W%29%20and%20offered%20both%20as%20suggestions%20for%20the%20mains%20and%20ideas%20for%20alternates.%20After%20so%20many%20hours%20of%20exploratory%20modulation%2C%20I%20am%20pleased%20to%20share%20this%20technical%20feedback%20with%20Ray%20and%20the%20fontstruct%20community%2A.%0D%0A%3Cp%3E%0D%0A%2AFor%20now%20cloning%20is%20off%20until%20I%20can%20communicate%20with%20Ray%20about%20the%20best%20approach%20to%20take%20with%20this.%20Hopefully%20we%20can%20find%20a%20way%20to%20share%20this%20without%20attracting%20a%20torrent%20of%20rip-offs.
