A nice variation. Yes, I can see the point: the neighbouring letters merge or connect better. I like both versions. 10/10

Worthwhile exercise ... I think it helps to tie the letters together.

Thanks guys. I tried it out, at thalamic's suggestion, and thought it worked pretty well.

Cool beans. :-)

But the dropping of bends has the effect of making the letter wider. They will need to be narrowed a bit. Or maybe just widen the N a bit, and all should be set.
