Nice idea - but I think it still needs a bit more work. That 'X' is too skinny and the lowercase is a bit of a mish-mash isn't it? The x-height of the l/c needs to be around the height of the 'a' Or even a wee bit more) and perhaps needs to be a bit bolder (to match the 'colour' of the Uppercase).

I agree the x was too skinny. I went in and fattened that up. I made the l/c a smaller and some of the others taller. The lower case was an after thought. I had had som many changes to this font along the way, that I was growing weary of looking at it. Trying to add some calligraphy type effects to it. This A was one starting point that was changed as I could not get other letters to match well with it. I'm still learning. Comments are appreciated. I think I like working on dingbats better. 8-)

The 'X' looks fine now. I know what you mean by 'growing weary of looking at it.' ... sometimes a design seems to elude your best efforts, then, suddenly, it's right there as you pictured it originally.

We are all 'still learning'. I always remember one of my old mentors saying 'There are no problems ... just solutions that we haven't discovered yet' :)

I may come back to it at some point in the future...when I have more know-how. Started working on another font. I noticed that a lot of people seem to go back to something they started in the beginning.
