Last night I couldn't sleep but I resisted the temptation to get up and hack out a few glyphs. I really should go to bed now.

You seem to have excelled with the new spacing controls.
Letters I'm sure you already know might need a new look at, as it was late and you were sleepy :-)
'h' & k - both look a little wide. Maybe do them just like the 'n'
'j' - think it needs to move a bit left. Spacing seems awkward.
's' - needs work.
't' - what does it look like with a taller stem?
'x' - looks a little twisted, maybe move the top left serif outwards.

As this is such a usable body copy font. Any plans on a upper case?

Thanks for your comments. I agree the s needs work and so does the x. As for the widths: it's quite a tight grid so it's hard to change the width and still end up with a viable shape. I'll try ascenders and descenders that are longer too.

Caps: yes, when I can chase my 18-yr-old off the computer.

you're obviously suffering from "fontism"

"font•ism"

(noun)

an addiction to the construction of fonts, or the compulsive behavior resulting from glyph dependency: "He had a long history of typophilia and fontism." ;-)

Oops, I'm logged on in the Royal "we". Hilarious. Fontism, what a great name for a font...

"thalaglio"... Does this mean a future collaboration between intaglio and thalamic? Wow...

Indeed it does. but we're not going to be sharing any old rubbish like intaglio does. they will be holished and poned or not at all...

@square peg: I'm happy to relinquish the name if you like. Your font looks truly insomniac, whereas mine just has the name as an arbitrary handle.

I'm unlikely to get back to this one, I'm working on an incomparably better design at the moment.
