This is very amusing. How do you get them to run into each other when you cannot control kerning?

FontStruct adds one grid space between each letter. To counter that, move your letter design one grid space to the left of the vertical blue line.

@Stewf: I was outside having a smoke and thinking what other way there could be to connect text and the idea of a continuous line came to me. Having done it, it does look Etchy-Sketchy.
