= → combining umlaut (faux German yaay in case ae, oe, and ue are inaccessible for some weird reason)
/ → long s (ſ)
2 → r rotunda (ꝛ)

The Stencilcomp rules said nothing about the font being Latin or complete.

Great job! d t are a bit of a mess though — no offence. 10/10 and are capitals about to reveal themselves?
Comment by demonics 25th september 2012
No offense taken :) I'll fix them when I have the time.

It's coming along, keep up the good work. I think the 'f' is a bit wide though.
Comment by p2pnut 26th september 2012
@p2pnut Please elaborate? :?

I wondered if the horizontal strokes of the 'f' were a little bit too long ... but on second thoughts maybe not.
Comment by p2pnut 5th october 2012
@p2pnut Ah, okay.

It turns out ø isn't a stencil... suggestions?

By the way, Blackletter seems to be very popular in this competition :P

@Umbreon126 // So I've been wanting to ask for so long: how do you create a sample whose background is that same exact yellowish tint?

Thanks,
dm
Comment by demonics 6th october 2012
@demonics

1) Transparency (bitmap)

2) (I don't have Photoshop for fancy text aliasing to blend with the background)
Comment by Houlaiziaa 6th october 2012
1) Put text in Word and set the page color to yellow

2) Snapshot, then paste into an image editing program and crop

3)So the text seems less awkward in non-yellow places, set the yellow to transparent (Red:255 Green:249 Blue:204) (Got the color numbers using a plugin on Firefox)
Comment by Houlaiziaa 6th october 2012
So it should work if I just set the background of my Publisher document to R255,G249,B205?
Comment by demonics 6th october 2012
B204 ;)

By the way, your samples are always so beautiful :Q
Comment by Houlaiziaa 7th october 2012
Whoops, typo :-)
My samples literally take 4 minutes. If you want to see good samples, look at beate's or thalamic's or someone's. Anyway, thanks so much! I have never seen that :Q emoticon before :-)
