This one started out quite different; a simple three-line font. While making an alternate B, the curlicue was introduced. A clone and many hours later, Etched was born. Later added borders and decorations when the sample called for it.

Simply wonderful! It's one of these fonts you can watch for hours, enjoying its refinement, details, harmony and perfection. And the creative process of such a piece remains a mystery to me, which makes it fascinating.

In Spain, to talk about a very hard and extremely careful work, we say: trabajo de chinos, chinesemen's work. This font is the just example, with incredible results.

@Mr.P2P: Thanks, kind sir.

@JM: You are too kind × 2.

@GF: Thank you and thank you.

@MS: Thanks for reading it.

@IR: There's a Daniel Bedingfield song called 'Inflate My Ego'. You've certainly done that with your comment. Thank you is not enough. As for the creative process, it was evolutionary in nature, as pretty much all my work. Do something, find faults in it, try to fix the faults, and if I'm lucky, discover something entirely new while fixing the flaws. Then go with what I stumbled upon. Repeat. :-)

@CR: I'm not Chinese so I take that as double compliment. Muchos gracias, señor. :-)
