I can see I'm going to have to do a double-bowl l/c a because it's too similar to the o as it is.

I wouldn't advise downloading this one unless you love kerning...

I am so impressed with your ability to create so many unique varieties of the serif font. Just keeping track of all you have done before is a job of its own. You would definitely benefit from font grouping in the personal area, if ever it is implemented.

PS: The Q dongle is lovely! :)

PPS: This just came to me: I have a feeling that this font might benefit from having shifting baseline and varying x-height. I mean, maybe the 'i' could be taller, the 'm' could be lower, or have one leg longer and lower, etc. so that the serifs don't run into each other. Or such a change may make it completely unusable. Who knows! Just an idea.

Nice, work, intaglio! thal has a great idea on the descending tails.

I'll certainly give that a go, thal. I'll create a clone so I don't bugger up the original. I suspect it's going to be too severe because the grid is quite coarse, but it will be fun finding out.

Thanks, Stewf. The f is a shoo-in. It might be fun to semi-swash some of the others: m and n for instance. Or perhaps they can be alternates.

Even though it's a bit of a silly font I'm enthused about it, which is good.

Another stunner. Nice work.

What do you create your samples with?

Thanks, aphoria.

I don't have a (decent!) page makeup program on my home computer, so I generate my samples in Photoshop. It's got some features like letterspacing, leading and incremental kerning that make it suitable.
The samples are Fontstruct's max width of 360 pixels (I think -- this is from memory, I'm writing from work) and I save them in .png format which gives a crisper result than .jpg. By not exceeding the Fontstruct width limit the example doesn't get resampled to fit, which would result in quality degradation.
