I was going to do a brag board but the font won't download. Shame. Although it's economically sized, I did go overboard on the brickstacking. Every glyph has at least two, and some shapes are composites of three bricks.

I wonder if the font generator takes one look at it and says "nah, no way Jose."

Well, some of the glyphs are fairly silly so I guess it serves me right.

Thanks, dbqp for the encouragement.

The triple-stacks are interesting: Fontstruct is fussy about how they are constructed. At first it's a bit foxing but turns out to be entirely logical. It's to do with whether you shunt your first two bricks horizontally or vertically, and it's also which negative spaces are being filled in by an invading brickshape. It's great fun. I encourage anyone who hasn't tried brickstacking to give it a go. It's a bit like playing tetris -- without the time pressure!

I'm umming and ahing about the notched exceptions at the moment. The cap E and F, and the cap C and G. And the K, always the K. I figure the whole thing is so full of exceptions anyway, the more the merrier...

Fontstruct is great in that you've only really got those two angles. Well, four if you count the mirror-images. It means your exceptions still make sense, sort of. If I was creating fonts in Illustrator, perish the thought, I'd have legs going off in all directions. The extreme simplicity of Fontstruct is a neat fifty-fifty split between charm and frustration, chaos and order.

Mr Meek, you're a genius.

This was a bit of an ambitious undertaking for such a small grid. I'm coming to grief on the caps. Oh well, it's still fun.
