This font is based on the signature of one of my favourite cartoonists, Al Hirschfeld. Because of this, I copied a few of the letters and invented many, and therefore I am unsure about the descenders for Q and J, and the widths of M, N, V, and W.

I was considering adding numbers back when I designed this. The numbers that Hirschfeld used to date and number his drawings was just as distinctive but completely different from his signature. Maybe I should get round to designing them. Thanks for the compliment and reminder!
