When I look back at some of my early basic, crude, designs I realise that it has been the help and advice of my fellow FontStructers that has led me along the path of improvement.
Mainly I am just a simple journeyman who seeks to please himself - I certainly don't have the wide-ranging imagination of so many who grace our screens here.
So, onwards and upwards my friends ... the main thing is enjoy what you do.
@umbreon126: Your a master of hyper-extended pixel fonts! ;)
Certainly I love putting these bricks together to create visuals that please me; it does take courage though to 'publish' my fonts because you are so good at assembling and manipulating the same bricks I have available.
In a few months or years I'll look at my first fonts and might wish I'd not left them visible for the internet community because of their crudeness, lack of useability and (logic) errors.
Until then I'll just work on, and with, all those fabulous ideas for shapes that might become a real font.
At this point a thanks for this great program to Mr.Meek. And to all of you for the encouragement and advice.
