Nice work completing your basic latin set, ETH! If only there was a way to slim the spine of your s without losing its curvaceousness. It is not obvious how to resolve this classic FontStruct conundrum at this scale.

Lowercase t may benefit from a reduction in height, as well as thinning the crossbar and aligning the top of this horizontal to the x-height. W and z are a bit wide and dark – V could lend a foundation for a new W.

Carry on!

@will.i.ૐ: Thank you! I have a set with basic accents, too, but the spacing between the lines is ridiculous...

I know what you mean about the s. And I fixed the W, t and z. Thanks for pointing them out!

Very nice work.

Here are a few ideas for the s. Your original is on the left.

@aphoria: Thank you for the suggestions! I've already tried out an s very similar to the 4th one, but it doesn't look right, so I left it on the ß character. I might try the middle one, but I'm not sure...

@aphoria: Wow! Amazing s! That s doesn't fit perfectly with the font, but I think it is the best one.

Anyone have a vote for which one fits best?

aphoria’s definitely on to something. Try your s one brick narrower like:

I agree. I like 1 the best, but I also think it looks better a bit narrower.

@will.i.ૐ: Very clever! Do you think it fits in with the rest of the font?

@ETH: Thanks. :)

You may consider revising S accordingly; otherwise, I think the last option fits best with the rest of Excalibur so far.

Way to go, Will! I vote the last one.

will.i.ૐ had a great idea to make the s once brick narrower. That one has my vote.

Thank you, everybody! And especially thanks to will.i.ૐ for the suggestion! I have updated the s and left some alternates in the More Latin set.
