"I" is definitely too large. My suggestion : reverse the "Y" vertically and maybe refine it then.
Another thing : this suffocates in sample text, you should enlarge the spacing between words.

It looks great! I think the Y is fine. Now it's top-pick worthy.

I didn't say the problem was on "Y" but on capital "I". I suggested a solution based on the "Y". Sorry for my bad english.

To enlarge space between words , you use the glyph named "space" (between "z" and "0"), then go to Menu and select "Letter Width", a vertical green bar appears and can push it horizontally with the mouse untill it blocks to the next case : - to the right if you want to increase spacing or - to the left if you want to decrease spacing.
Hope this is enough clear because i'm french and my english is not perfect.

I think AFT means - use the width of the lower part of the 'Y' for the width of the 'I' ...

AFT has explained it very well - his English is excellent.

One more thing - I forgot to add that this is a really good design and it gets my 10/10 :)

@P2Pnut : I never understood how you guys could get a "photograph" of the fontstructor grid in action, because when you're in it there's no command for it, and when you're out of it, the grid is simply not anymore there. A great mystery for me.

@AFT - Re: Screen capture - You can use an external program to grab screen shots (I believe there are several out there). I use a very old copy of Paint Shop Pro.

Or, you could always use the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard to capture the screen and paste/edit it to size in your favorite image program.

If you're using Windows, you can use the Snipping Toll, under Accessories I think.
