I wonder if vertically splitting in half even the |I| just for the sake of consistency is going a bit too far... More malfunctioning printer than stencil I suppose.
Hi! The consistency is fine to me (the gerenal outlines are great b.t.w). As for the pilcrow/paragraph side effect, you may need to tweak a little the related glyphs, IMO, by providing a new font version, a cloned one, even alternate glyphs (in the current font if need be).
So, what worked as a quick bitmap edition (sorry for not daring to clone or drop a sample): Widened split vertical bars… (gap left unchanged.)¶
Just make these columns a lot 'bolder' (over 2-3 times), but individually less than the original/unmodified one (e.g. in "L"). It looks pretty good after applying this kind of little fix, in my editor at least. Simple like that!¶
Oh, and you still can improve/aggravate this unexpected 'glitch' efffffect… Bye!¶
