This font is an experiment in anti-aliasing, or more, and attempt to make things that look like distortions actually enhance the font. Try looking at it pixel size, and large size. At large size, compare far away and close up. If you download it, it will have an even better effect if you have font smoothing enabled. This is a very old unreleased experiment. It's not very good, but I still consider it a successful experiment.
