Wonderful steep angles! Did you learned this from Aphoria? It has that western atmosphere, that would make Clint Eastwood feel home. I've seen a Photoshop text effect tutorial recently with similar type: 20. Smoking bullet holes into a piece of wood
. Congratulations. 10/10

Thank you both :)

I just started from the desire to achieve a steeper angle ... tried 1:2 and it worked.

It's funny that you mentioned bullet holes Frodo, that was where the filters let me down. I tried putting bullet holes in this but ended up with oval holes and it just didn't look right.

Because I'm not a professional designer I don't use Photoshop (although I do have a copy). I use an old copy of Paint Shop Pro (9). I have been wondering if I should take the time to learn Photoshop - it seems more complex the PSP.

Very nice work p2pnut...it's just got a great feel to it.

When I saw your sample, it reminded me right away of one of my fonts, Cowboy.

My own attempt with steeper angles was Venus Sans.
