An experimental 12-segment display, and my 100th published Fontstruction. It's the calculator of yesterday's future!

This one belongs to a small family called Calculatrix.

This font is monospaced to ensure segments are always where they "should" be (as if the text were printed on one giant display).

The X looks like a swastika

Swastikas turn to the right. Manjis and the X turn to the left.

How else would you represent the X here, except by a twisted cross? The display has no diagonal lines.

I found an alternative design for Xx. It looks wonky, but sort of suits the computer aesthetic...

Yes it was (Bill Gates).  Cool.  These things can be tricky, but for some reason, we have to do our own version, don't we?  Looks good.
