This is my first fontstruction, so please be gentle :) I made this as an exercise based on my own square-tip pen calligraphy, and it turned out to be some kind of "modern" blackletter. Please send in any comments/sugestions/critics/whatever

easy? very nice debut. you might want to play with increasing the spacing with the space character - it might improve readability - although that's a pick :) great job.

Thank you very much for your comment, I'll see how it looks with wider spacing!

beautiful debut! I think to fully appreciate this font you have to switch to sample text view, it then looks like it really was handwritten, and could be grabbed right out of a fairy tale book... (funny enough, i just realized that almost all of these sample sentences could be grabbed out of fairy tale books as well... hm) anyway, i hope we'll see more of your stuff soon.;)
ah yeah, and now that i might still have some influence on you: the "more latin" characters would be cool... they are relatively easily done with the copy/paste function and extend the usability of your font on about half the planet...;)

Beautiful job! Every bit oozes quality. Don't tell me it is your first ever font creation. Because you seem to know a lot about style and letters.

I totally agree with shasta on the preview. It is very legible at the pixel size. Well done.

Oh yes! You graduate to level 10 on the first attempt. :)

Thank you very much for all the compliments and support! This inspires me to continue working on this font, to make the diacritics and perhaps even greek and ciryllic characters. Please do send in critics!

- Shasta, thank you for that comment, I hadn't thought of fairy tales! To me it seems kind of religious, but maybe it's because it is a blackleterish font.

-Geneus1, I did have legibility in pixel size in mind when I was builting this font, so thanks for the feedback!

ok, if you insist that much on critics: the lowercase z is a bit too wide in my opinion... maybe you see what i mean when you look at words like "fizzy" or "quartz".
btw, looks like you're working the more latin characters... great!:)
