I'm gobsmacked. And heartened. I can see myself making fonts I can actually use...

@djnippa: I am stuck in a bit of a rut at the moment so there's a good case for going back into the ones I consider to be the best and finishing them. It's a ratio of probably 80% crap to 20% worthwhile, but even so that's about 30 fonts that need fixing.

I've already discovered that the x2 schemes don't work that well when I go between-the-grid with the half-width bricks. But now there's more leeway, and perhaps I can rescue those intractable ones that I care about (Empyreus, for instance).
