Please do continue.Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Comment from sebastianbernshttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/237387#15556http://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/237387#15556Yes, yes, keep it up! Lot of work ahead, but keep going. Is it based on anything in particular?Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Comment from p2pnuthttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/237387#15563http://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/237387#15563This is amazing work - all the more so for being a first FontStruction. I noticed that you have come up against the usual problem of joining certain combinations of bricks. Well help is at hand ... djnippa has created a most useful guide to 'brick stacking' - http://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/ncd_brick_stacker_one_grid To show you the value of this I have done a sample of your E, with the brick stacked version on the right - Hope this helps :)
Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Comment from PJKChttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/237387#15573http://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/237387#15573Thanks everyone for the support. I will keep working on it for sure. The suggestion about brick stacking is great, p2pnut. I will sure be using this technique. Does anyone have a suggestion to which capital letters I should tackle next?Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Comment from p2pnuthttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/237387#15578http://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/237387#15578Glad that helped ... where nippa leads, we humbly follow :) As to which U/C to do next - I tend to go for ones that have some common feature with other glyphs, so that I can copy them (save so much time). So, with a more standard font, I might start with the O as that gives me elements to use on C, D and Q. Then I often do the B which gives me the basis for the E, F, P, R and so on. However, with an ornate font like this, that process has a far more limited application ... so I would just go for the ones I enjoy doing at the time :)Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Comment from Stewfhttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/237387#15617http://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/237387#15617Congratulations!
