Very nice 3D effect.Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Comment from djnippahttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/208998#12343http://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/208998#12343This is very similar (but much much better) to a font I originally designed before I started NCD REINFORCIA & then NCD WHITE PICKET FENCE. Although mine was more of a flat version. Yours has a very cool angle and bounce about it, an therefore stomps all over my version. I'm jealous. 10/10 Have you tried increasing the length of the t,b - they look a bit headless. The thin lines do not show as well as when using the online VIEW USER INPUT facility. Does anyone know why that is please? Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Comment from djnippahttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/208998#12383http://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/208998#12383I thought I'd best include a sample (as you know I never actually published this font NCD Bracia). It's funny how similar they are, although I suppose that's simply down to like minded people working within the constraints of Fontstruct. Also your's kicks ass.
Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Comment from shastahttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/208998#12393http://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/208998#12393Thanks for your comments, everyone! Very appreciated... :) @nippa: Come on, no need for false modesty... We both know your Bracia is at least as cool as this one. ;) And yes, again a case of creative synchronicity (though you were obviously first here to be correct) on fontstruct... I take it as an compliment to have similar ideas like some of the finest fontstructors around here. And thanks for the absolutely correct observation on t and b too, they've grown up now. Definitely better. @p2pnut: True, they do look quite sticky... Good inspiration for a sample theme! ;) @mathematician: No idea why they don't render that well in MS Paint... But as MS Paint isn't a very sophisticated program in general, I guess the anti-alias algorithms aren't the best you can get. If you don't want to spend much money on something like Photoshop or Fireworks, maybe check out the GIMP. Though I don't really have any experience with this program, I'm confident it gives you better results than Paint. Another solution for BW samples is of course just to take a screenshot of the fontstruct preview. (The rendering there also has some trouble with small font sizes though.) But thanks anyway for the nice sample! Funny how an originally graffiti-inspired font turns out to work well for a Piano Concerto... :)Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Comment from gferreira_adminhttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/208998#12591http://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/208998#12591Congratulations!
