I admire that.Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Comment from cayohttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/197382#10374http://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/197382#10374you had me at hThu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Comment from afrojethttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/197382#10409http://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/197382#10409@djnippa: Great suggestion. You have a special gift for turning alphabet lemons into alphabet lemonade. I appreciate your editorial skills. @thal: Thanks! This one came together quite quickly. I saw the Poff font and thought, "I bet this would look cool with this kind of treatment". Beyond that I just wanted it to have a happy summery vibe. That more then anything influenced each specific character. For instance, I thought using a lowercase 'i' was more 'poppy' then an uppercase 'I'.Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Comment from gferreira_adminhttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/197382#10558http://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/197382#10558Congratulations! I really agree with thamalic. There are no letters that seem to be out of place or random. You just know how to work with white space and weights. For a trained eye it's easy to see that this is the work of an experienced graphic designer. And still it's not just a rigid construction but hase those little characteristic features, that make an interesting font. Like the dot on the I and how the bar of the T is seperated from the stem. My favourite is propably the Y, so simple yet so interesting to look at.Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Comment from gferreira_adminhttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/197382#13897http://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/197382#13897Congratulations! I must say that the name sticks better here!Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Comment from afrojethttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/197382#14486http://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/197382#14486@will That is an interesting question. What do you suggest? A good old fashion duel perhaps? Pistols at dawn kind of thing? Will you be my second? I'm sue it's just a coinkidink, but I agree that the name is better suited here. I wouldn’t make a good second if I didn’t show up at the appointed hour! But, hmm, how to settle this contest? Clearly you’re the one packing the real slugs, so pistols might be slightly ungentlemanly, though not entirely unwanted ;) How about dueling samples? Kinda like a visual rap battle. You know, kerning the dozens. We’ve seen your bold and fitting style – and it’s truly off the chizzle – but how about a sample* from the other guy’s myfonts page and we let the people decide? Technicolor yawn, anyone? * this image has been modified to fit on two lines instead of the original one, but otherwise remains unchanged :)
Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 +0000Comment from gferreira_adminhttp://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/197382#17101http://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/197382#17101Congratulations!
